CAREER GOAL
I aim to become a clinical researcher, primarily focusing on advancing oncology through innovative therapies and improving outcomes for cancer patients. Simultaneously, my keen interest lies in studying the impact of cancer under microgravity and radiation conditions to enhance astronaut performance during prolonged spaceflight. This dual focus signifies my commitment to contributing to space medicine advancements while addressing critical challenges in cancer research.
I am drawn to this study area due to my belief that microgravity could serve as a therapeutic approach for specific cancer types. Exploring the interplay between microgravity, immunotherapy, and cancer not only holds promise for enhancing astronaut health but also provides unique insights into innovative cancer therapies applicable on Earth.
Driven by a passion for utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to answer crucial questions, I also aspire to play a pivotal role in training and mentoring underrepresented students in science.
