Four years of dedicated animal care experience within various roles in the animal community providing different aspects of care/welfare management towards animals. I have previously completed certifications in K9 CPR and first aid, Fear Free handling, and Recover BLS/ALS. I am currently enrolled in my second year of my BSc with the aspiration to major in biology and minor in psychology to better communicate within clinics. Within my time at AVC I was known for my de-escalation skill set with fear reactive large breed dogs, a special passion of mine of ensuring animals who do not have a voice of their own are still heard and respected to ensure optimal comfort during their visits. Since moving towards more animal welfare within animal protection I have been recognized for my dedication for best outcomes, advocacy for animals who have none, and my overall work ethic/drive to ensure the safety/well-being of all animals.
