Responsible for leading Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), accountant, treasury, tax, billing areas and internal control. Report to the CFO.

• Preparation of business cases totaling USD 100 Million and secure funding of USD 56 Million, for investment in the enhancement of general cargo operations, yard refurbishment, development of new infrastructure to generate new business opportunities, and acquisition of port equipment.
• Leading and implementation of budgeting & forecasting process for revenues, EBITDA and capex, allocating USD 200 Million for both opex and capex.
• Implementation of saving initiatives in the P&L: Savings of USD 350K (2017), USD 300K (2018), USD 500K (2019), USD 530K (2020) and USD 5.0 Million (2023).
• Responsible for implementing the upgrade of the ERP “IFS10”, aligning the working processes of the Finance, Procurement, Maintenance and Warehouse areas with the new APM Terminal’s HQ standard.
• Implementation of a weekly-P&L performance review, providing a supportive tool for the senior management team’s decision-making process.
• Automation and enhancement of financial processes (development of website for receiving suppliers’ invoices online, decrease P&L reporting time, implementation of XML payment structure for suppliers, and automation of container and general cargo billing processes).
• Stakeholder Management: Experience in managing the tariff review process with the regulator (OSITRAN) and dealing tax audit processes with Tax Authority (SUNAT), preparing addendum of Callao Port concession agreement, and participating in an international arbitration case against Peruvian Government with claims of USD 90 Million.
• Recovery of taxes: VAT: USD 1.1 Million (2015) and withholding tax (USD 2.4 Million - 2013; USD 1.1 Million – 2016).
• Implementation of APMT Callao’s financial model, a crucial tool utilized in preparing the business case for Callao Redesign Project, which entails investments of USD 1200 Million.

• Conducted analysis of commercial proposals with the business team, obtaining new revenues streams of USD 8.6M in 2014.
• Implementation of a process for analyzing investment projects, overseeing projects totaling USD 9.3M in 2014, and USD 3.9M in 2013.
• Achieving P&L savings of USD 1.0M in 2013.
• Improvement of cash flow position by 15% (an increase of USD 1.0M) in 2014, through enhancements in invoicing, collections, and payment processes for suppliers' invoices.
• Negotiation and secure bank credit lines of USD 14.0M with the local financial system to address short-term treasury needs.
• Centralized and automated the issuance of customers’ invoices within the Financial Area.
• Participated in and coordinated the due diligence process for Grupo Atento’s sale for 1.1 billion to Bain Capital investment fund in 2012.

Analysis of the P&L results across 15 business units of Atento Group, and presentation of performance report to Telefonica. Report to the Controlling Director. Leadership of 3 employees.

• Implementation of budgeting & forecasting process across the 15 business units within Atento Group.
• Implementation of the investment project approval process. Analysis of investment projects totaling USD 70 Million up to 2010.
• Achievement of a 30% reduction in reporting time through the implementation of an automated system for financial and operational information reporting at Atento Group HQ
• Appointed as CFO of Atento Colombia in 2009. Implementation of enhancements in the financial report process, successfully improved of cash flow, successful completion of financial audit, implementation of procurement process, and fulfilment of financial target objectives.
• Participation and coordination of the Public Offering Process – IPO for the sale of Atento Group in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
